This winter, join me for a warm, lively journey into Latin through the wonderful world of Appleton! In this short online course, we’ll read Appleton’s engaging Fabulae Virginibus Puerisque together in clear, comprehensible Latin, unpack vocabulary and grammar as needed, and enjoy rich discussion in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Whether you’re returning to Latin or diving deeper into reading fluency, you’ll get weekly guidance, community, and plenty of chances to grow your confidence.
Who is this course best for? Students who are intermediate speakers (some experience using spoken Latin) and intermediate–advanced readers—especially those who can comfortably handle the later chapters of Lingua Latina per se Illustrata. If that’s you, you’ll feel right at home.
Expect: • Guided reading and discussion of Appleton • Simple Latin explanations to build comfort and fluency • A friendly group atmosphere with lots of encouragement • Practical takeaways you can apply immediately to your own learning

NOTA BENE:Classes require a minimum number of participants to run although they may run with fewer participants, at the instructor’s discretion. If minimum is not met, we’ll notify you at least 72 hours before start and offer options.
