Description
Do you want to start using Latin as an active language for the first time? Have you done it before but it's been a while and you feel like you could use a refresher from 0? In this course, we'll start from "0" and introduce the rudiments of conversational Latin for use in Spoken Latin events, and the classroom. We'll cover topics ranging from basic greetings and survival skills to getting around day-to-day and discussing the basic grammatical features of texts.
Students are highly encouraged to also register for the mixed level conversation hour that follows this course for an additional opportunity to practice these skills.
N.B: This course assumes a good, basic, grasp of Latin grammatical fundamentals.
