R.B. Appleton's "Ludi Persici" - Intermediate
Instructor: Holly "Annula" Russo
Course Details
Description
Appleton's "Ludi Persici" is a series of 11 short plays (on average they have around 4 scenes) which provide a fun and interactive way to learn Latin at the intermediate level. In this class, parts will be divided among the participants who will read the plays aloud together with help from the instructor. Key grammatical forms and unfamiliar vocabulary will be discussed during each session to ensure that the stories are comprehensible for everyone. This text is solidly intermediate, as it is intended to bridge learners from easy readers to authentic Latin texts. (It is similar in this way to other Appleton works such as Tons Tironum). I'm really excited for this class and hope you will join me!
