Course Details

Description

In this course we'll be reading & discussing R.B. Appleton's Fabulae.  The level of difficulty is appropriate for intermediate readers (similar to Pons Tironum, and other works by Appleton).  The fabulae include well-known Classical myths, excerpts from Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, and a lengthy selection from Apuleius' Metamorphoses.  The class will meet on a regular basis, and we'll read as far into the text as we can get in 8 sessions.  Looking forward to reading with you!
