How Do I Ask A Story? (any level)

Description:
If you're working on asking a story with your class, you've never done it and would like to try it, or you just want to see someone else do it, this is a good space for that. We will meet for two sessions - in the first session, I will ask a story with the participants as I do with my students. There will be time for discussion and breakdown afterward. In our second session, participants will get to work on asking a story themselves with feedback from class members.
Sessions will take place via Zoom.
Schedule:
2 1-hour sessions over 2 weeks
Mondays, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST*
June 30, 2025 - July 7, 2025
*The course will observe US time and will change according to daylight saving time.
Major US federal holidays are observed. If a participant misses a session due to their observance of a religious holiday, they can arrange a separate session with the instructor.
Cost:
USD 50 ($25/ session)

Zoom
Decent internet
Earphones
Microphone
Webcam (preferred but optional)
A quiet space for classes
All classes will be recorded in case participants must miss a segment, and folks can sign up for the classes if they can’t make the time and still receive all recordings and materials.

Classes require a minimum number of participants to run although they may run with fewer participants, at the instructor’s discretion.

More than a week before the start of the course: 100% refund or credit
Less than a week before the first class up until the second class: credit
